*this is just a post regarding some ramblings i have recently. so tune out before it spoils your mood.
Just for the effect, I've now officially been working for the past three months... and who says working is any easier than studying. It is another packet of headache all together. But I'm hanging on there.
I shall broadcast the pitiful state of my working environment to you very soon, so stay tune.
Meanwhile, to answer questions as to how I am handling everything? I'm doing fine. Different environment, different set of problems, different pool of culture.... I'm keeping an open mind here but there are certain things that i believe are beyond my constant reasoning. However, in keeping the ying and yang of a balanced lifestyle, I shall constantly look on the bright side. (*a big smiley grin with sparkling teeth*)
When I made this promise over 6 years ago, never would i picture myself in this situation that I am in now. Regret? I don't particularly regret coming here. Compunction? Away from everything familiar, a little. Attrition? definitely in the sense of how my language sounds like nowadays. But I have made that promise. What seemingly seems like a promise I made dino-years ago. And yes, I will make the best of my promise! GAMBATTE!
6 years of going through this course, in the end, it all comes down to this --serving the community.
Last week, we were told to check on this website. Which lead us to this.
The feeling was like checking your university semester result... You pray so hard that you will pass your exams, and you get so nervous that even typing your matrix number or password, your shaky fingers also got it wrong.
And also the long wait for the webpage to load.....
LOADING . . .
Lastly this came out...

And to sum up Sarawak, i'll have to quote wiki for a general idea of Sarawak's geographical 'vastness'.
Having land area of 124,450 km² spreading between latitude 0° 50′ and 5°N and longitude 109° 36′ and 115° 40′ E, it makes up 37.5% of the land of Malaysia. Sarawak also contains large tracts of tropical rain forest home to an abundance of plant and animal species.
Sarawak is currently divided into eleven Administrative Divisions: Kuching Division, Samarahan Division, Sri Aman Division, Betong Division, Sarikei Division, Sibu Division, Mukah Division, Kapit Division, Bintulu Division, Miri Division and Limbang Division.
The state stretches for some 750 km along the north east coastline of Borneo, interrupted in the north by about 150 km of Brunei coast. Sarawak is separated from the Indonesian part of Borneo (Kalimantan) by ranges of high hills and mountains that are part of the central mountain range of Borneo. These get higher to the north and culminate near the source of the Baram RiverMount Mulu in the Park of the same name and Mount Murud with the steep Mount Batu Lawi, with the highest peak in Sarawak.
The major rivers from the south to the north include Sarawak River, the Lupar River, the Saribas River, the Rajang River with 563 km the longest river in Malaysia with the Baleh RiverBaram River, the Limbang River that drains into the Brunei Bay as it divides the two parts of Brunei and the Trusan River that also flows into the Brunei Bay.The Sarawak river 2459k2 in area and is the main river flowing through Kuching(the capital).

*sing along* Bangun pagi, gosok gigi, cuci muka, pakai baju……
Yay! It felt like going back to school all over again. It was even more prominent when we all dress up in school uniforms (and some even in their primary school uniform with dark blue kain tapih [ baju kurung skirt] =) eating our childhood keropok Mimi. We were all pack to go for Kursus Biro Tatanegara in Camp Pueh, Sematan! Tagging our luggage along (although Fel’s one can fit another human being inside) we board IPBL new bus and were soon on our journey. *sorry Pak Wan, kamek ni memang bising ;)* (dah la ada Jaime, yg Alex nak bagi pill tido utk diamkan mulutnya…. Kuang3x)
Tut tut tut…. We reached Sematan around 12 noon, had our lunch overlooking the beautiful blue beach, bought enough supply of mineral water for 5 days and off we go to our camp for real. It was a tagging feeling of turning back the bus and head back to Kuching; and also to go through this camp once and for all. But despite our constant urging for Pak Wan to ‘gostan’ (go astern), we reached our camp site at 2pm. Pulling our trolley bags, our pail, hanger and etc…, we registered ourselves with our camp facilitators – Pak Mus & the gang with their thick mustach and serious face. (in my mind *kenak semua kedak commander army jak?! Matila kali ni kena hentam* ) So carrying our given blanket and bedsheet, we head for our assigned lodging for this 5 days.
Our lodging is very interesting. We got to sleep in bunk bed (Yipee!) and share 3 fans among about 20 of us. But most importantly (and a first experience for me) is that they do not provide individual cubicle bathrooms only one big air kolah (hmm… a pool of water?). So we took bath together-gather la… and as usual, we are open to water fight; where in some instances ada yang terkantoi…. Hehehe. Sleeping on bunk bed was fun too, we get to jump from one bed to another and laugh and sleep together. Luckily bunk bednya dijamin kukuh, mun x, ada dah jadi daging sandwich pakai breakfast pagi2…. =)
on my side of the bed.... luckily x roboh.... phiew

before heading to bed.... which explains all the sleepy faces.
So these are some sneak peeks of the girls dome. More coming up on the activities and lectures of birotatanegara.
Prologue
First day activity – Taklimat kursus & makan. Most of the content of the taklimat are history of our nation which we have learnt in school and also during our KISSM so it was just a revision for us. I have to admit my attention span is rather limited. Therefore, I believe my friends and I have all perfected the skill of 'pretending to stay focus and attentive'. Some tips for trying to stay focus are as follows: (ada embak sekilo somboi, ada dengan gula2, macam2 gelagat) But something we can’t stay without during the entire course is our trusted insect repellent!...

Today is the final night we're here at the Malaya. Tomorrow, it will be stepping across South China Sea to the Land of Hornbills. What will the future holds? Are we still in control of it?
The emotion of leaving a place we step on for two years is a mixture of uncertainty yet curious, yearning yet missing, loving yet unwilling to admit. Why? After all, it has been a place where we've grown up.
Snippet of things I'll surely miss about uni:
- early morning 8am classes which gradually will become 815am, 830am and soon 9am.
- afternoon lunch at Komplex Bestari with cat fish as our usual menu, or quick chinese fix at the commuter shop
- afternoon sundaes at Mc D with a shared cup of coke and fries
- also all those Mc D lunch, dinner, eh... sometimes breakfast...
- friday lunch at paandis
- afternoon cucur and penang laksa at makcik's stall
- of course, late night supper and numerous visits to the mamak right outside our house.
- late night camping in Tun Sri Lanang (assignment and exams, pulled off and all nighter as well)
- evening Danau swim
- evening stadium jogs
- the time when we cycle around uni
- the time we stroll around uni - to feel healthy konon ba
- the time when pusanika is like our shopping mall
- the afternoon ice blended needs
- reporting to GSC almost every week - sometimes more than once a week =P (hmm... now i understand where 10% of my allowance went)
- hanging out at Starbucks
- playing tourist around KL
- shopping malls :D :D & shopping shopping shopping!
- MPO visits
- concerts and theater =)
- cheering for max with his many stage performances
- restorants here .....................
But all this shall not be memorable without all of you, my friends. Going to miss all of you very much. (I hope I won't be doing a Grammy Award tomorrow>_<) I'm sorry if I had hurt anyone intentionally or otherwise, sometimes emotional take the worst out of me. My sincere apologies. But for what it all takes, I thank you all of you for being apart of my life. Thank you.
p/s for those i'm unable to meet before I leave KL - Fellie, Pearl, Cindy, Siew Hee and the rest, I'll meet you again someday k. Take care and my sincere best wishes for all of you.
Signing off from KL in 14 hours.
As our time in KL is limited, we went to midvalley yesterday to catch our final movie before heading back home. Little did I know that the movie that was choosen, was a ghost movie, 'Coming Soon'. (damn mul!)
I will not be judging this movie alot, as most of the time i stayed behind my jacket.... -_-lll or peep through my jacket to catch a glimpse.
But i can tell you this much la... this movie will really make your hair stand! and the twist of the movie is done so well that I have to give it to the director for making me love hate this movie.
Plot:
In this movie, 2 staffs working as film projectors in the Mega Cineplex, Chen and Peoll, helps VCD pirates to record the show in the cinema before this movie is offically shown. Later, Chen found out that while Peoll is recording this movie, he was killed by the ghost in the movie and became one of the victim in the movie. Later, Chen found out Peoll was killed by the ghost with his eyes dugged out and tries to stop the ghost from killing whoever watches her hanged to death. He tried to destory the film but ended up in the trap of the ghost and was later killed as well. After both of them were killed, the movie went from “coming soon” to “now showing”, where people are able to watch it in the cinemas and Chen and Peoll were victims in it with their eyes being dugged out. (taken from http://sparkyboi.wordpress.com/2009/03/06/review-thai-horror-movie-coming-soon/)
Go catch it in cinema like us in the middle of the night, and you'll be sure to sleep with your lights on at night.........
it is not really the end.
It is the beginning...
"DO YOU REALLY WANNA SEE ME DIE?"
